MEDIATION SERVICES

Mediation services is a collaborative and compassionate process supported by a neutral third party (the mediator) with the goal of resolving disputes between parties so that they can all reach an outcome that works for them. While relationship counselling focuses on the relationship itself and reaching a shared desired destination (such as navigating challenges as a couple), mediation services focuses on resolving a conflict where the people involved may have separate desired destinations (such as co-parenting as separated parents). Mediation can be a faster and cheaper alternative to settling disputes in court. While mediators are not lawyers, do not provide legal advice, and do not make decisions (the involved parties get to choose what works best for them), mediation can be a supportive process that makes resolving disputes simpler and easier.
