​This is for individuals who are part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, their loved ones, or anyone wanting to learn more about this community and how they can support them. This includes Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bi, pan, trans, non-binary, questioning, queer, intersex, asexual, aromantic individuals, and more.

   

   Local Resources

• Spectrum: facilitates various support groups and fun events in the Waterloo region, and has online resources for learning. 

• Out On The Shelf: offers digital and physical resources and workshops, in the Guelph and Wellington area.

   Support 

• LGBT Youthline: peer support for people aged 29 and under in Ontario.

• Trans Lifeline: peer support for trans people by trans people in Canada. 

• The Enchante Network: a list of pride centres and 2SLGBTQIA+ service providers in Ontario and across Canada, such as community support groups and programs.

   Education ​

• The Trevor Project: an excellent resource for learning more about 2SLGBTQIA+ identities and experiences. 

• Rainbow Health Ontario: provides training on 2SLGBTQIA+ experiences for health care providers, and has an inclusive service provider directory.  ​

• Egale: research, education, awareness, and advocacy for 2SLGBTQIA+ rights in Canada.
